It just sickens me how religion has been treated in the media since the 1970's. It's made fun of, reviled, and often hated. It's portrayed on tv series as a joke. Watch some old tv shows of the 1950's, it's treated with respect. Familes often went to church on Sundays on tv shows such as Beaver, Father Knows Best, and Donna Reed Show. So it comes as no surprise that the persecution of Christians in the Middle East is hardly mentioned at all in the MSM. Even our President, a Christian, gives little mention of this, but he mentions the Muslims, which is not even his religion. This is the persecution that us Christians have to got through. Hopefully we'll have a new president that is much more sympathetic to the Christians at home and abroad.
