Social Conservatives, please explain to me the following: I can right now, get a Marriage License, wait 24 hrs, have a NOTARY sign it, and then myself and my girlfriend sign it and we are MARRIED. No priest, no ceremony, no nothing. We can have a PRENUPTIAL agreement drawn up that says all of our own personal property BEFORE the Marriage will remain OUR OWN, that is, it does not become community property. Essentially, in 24 hours, we can have all the tax and financial benefits of Marriage. Contrast that to a couple who does premarital counseling, waits a year, gets married in a Church, has a big religious ceremony, and co-mingles their assets. Which couple is MORE Married? Does either couple look DIFFERENT to the Gov't. NOPE!!

By your logic, contraception is a "national security threat" as well. Better suspend the Posse Commitus act and have the Infantry go into all the Pharmacies and confiscate all the condoms and birth control. Again, Social Conservatives are at the height of a Meltdown because they can no longer control and force people do behave as they want. Without laws and police power to coerce people, without so called social stigma, they now have to rely on speech, and speech alone. As you can see, most of the American Public has had enough with Social Conservatives calls for Big Government to regulate the personal lives of people in the name of "moral necessity", and "morals".

Conservatives speak out of both sides of their mouths. They whine about parents being able to decide the "best interests" of their children. Religion, vaccination, sex education, ect ect, should be decided by parents alone in the children's "BEST INTERESTS". Now what if two parents decide it is in the "BEST INTERESTS" of their children that they should divorce? Oh but you say "divorce harms children". Yeah? So does not getting vaccinated. So does a whole host of things. Parents are 100% free to raise their children as racists or Neo-Nazis, correct? They are free to raise them to be atheists or Satanists. But parents shouldn't divorce eh? It all comes down to Conservatives feeling powerless to FORCE people to do what they want.

Unfortunately for you, Lawrence vs Texas says otherwise. 9 states allow same sex Marriage, with about half having been enacted legislatively or by people's referendum. The ONLY option you have against homosexuality is in the "Free Market of Ideas", where you have no force of law behind you. No police, prosecutorial, or judicial power to FORCE people to accept your views and end homosexuality.

Conservatives can't even get other Conservatives to enter into Covenant Marriages in the 3 states where they are available. Enacted as "THE solution" to divorce, they are OPTIONAL for couples to enter into, with even a reduced or eliminated marriage license fee. The "Free Market" has determined that Covenant Marriage is a massive legislative failure. It is like passing a tax cut to increase growth, and then seeing 10% higher layoffs. 0.1% of couples actually CHOOSE to enter into them. This is significant, because it shows that today Conservatives need LAWS to FORCE people into doing what they want. Given a CHOICE, people in the "Free Market" are staying away from Conservative iterations of Marriage.
Say it with me: there is NO SUCH THING as "abortifacient " contraception. There is NO SUCH THING as "abortifacient " contraception. There is NO SUCH THING as "abortifacient " contraception. There is NO SUCH THING as "abortifacient " contraception. There is NO SUCH THING as "abortifacient " contraception. The scientific evidence that hormonal contraception does NOT affect implantation is OVERWHELMING, but ignored by the right wing.

What we need to do is expose, legally harass, and basically make the lives of DEA agents miserable. We should be posting their pictures all over the internet - which is LEGAL if taken in a public place. We need to pressure banks and businesses to not do business with them. We need to protest theirs and their families funerals like Westboro. Any Local or State officer that works with the DEA should have their picture posted on every webpage, and their address sent to drug cartels. Their local community should kick them out, and seize their property. Being a DEA or Federal Agent enforcing unconstitutional drug laws should be made so unpalatable, they will tell Congress "We just won't do it anymore".

This is the United States of America, and NOT Israel. Who cares if Hagel isnt fond of Israel? Conservatives oppose gay marriage and homosexuality, but seem to have a real man-on-man love affair with Israel. They just want the US to bend over and take it real good. Conservatives seem to be the submissive in the relationship too, taking every word and action of Israel to be Gospel.

Conservative males and their like-minded women are horrified, terrified, and terribly threatened that they can no longer force women into doing their bidding. Social Conservatives reach a point of near psychotic delusion when they realize that women today can just laugh and spit in their face and ideas, instead of bowing down. Social Conservatives now must look to Big Government for more laws, and beg legislators to get police, prosecutors, and judges to help enforce their moral code. Social Conservatives almost have a stroke when they realize the the culture just doesn't care what they think anymore. So, SoCons, whatever happened to letting the "Free Market" decide things?

I would pay a fair amount of money for that "sensitive document" they left behind so I could send it to Anonymous as well as plaster it all over the internet and every coffee shop in the US
