Wait a minute. Are they saying that global warming has a more adverse affect on women than men? How can that be? Are we not told by the progressive feminist group NOW that women are equal to men? So how can it be that women are affected more than men? Progressivism (I just made that word up to define the progressive movement's belief system - as in an ism, e.g., Buddhism or Catholicism) is so confusing.

Is Syria really our "friend"? Are the rebels? Let Syria use the gas. Give some to the rebels. Then both sides are on equal footing and killing each other. It's a win-win for us. Since when do we care how many of our enemies kill one another? Just that many fewer enemies to worry about. Also give the gas to Israel to be used only if needed to protect themselves from the winner in Syria. And make sure Israel knows that they can only use the gas for protection or feel the wrath of the US.
And Christians aren't guilty of the same offence? Vietnamvet is a case in point.
Since I am not atheist, I can not answer that question. I just find it funny that both groups cry foul but have little tolerance for the other group when they cry foul. Personally, I think the vocal atheist have a personal vendetta against religions in general and Christians in particular. I know that they push their agenda to the extreme when it come to the so called "separation of church and state". I don't see anything wrong with the Ten Commandments being in a courtroom or students having prayer before a football game or teachers having a Bible or Koran on their desk.
I remember one time while I was in Vietnam a Catholic Chaplain came out on the resupply chopper and held a "generic" service for those who wanted to attend. As I recall, Chaplains did "double duty" by holding "generic" services so those who could not attend services of their faith could at least attend some service.
Sorry, I flagged this as offensive when I meant to click on reply. In reply, I ask the same questions...I wish I had an answer.
I can not understand why there are those who resort name calling and disparagement. Especially if they call themselves Conservative. It drags the rest of us Conservatives down to the same level as Liberals.
So, atheist can't be good soldiers? Only Christian soldiers can handle real weapons? (When I went through BCT and AIT at Ft Polk in 1968 I was taught that my rifle was a weapon, not a gun.) If that is your stance, then you are just a bigoted as any atheist. It's funny, Christians get their panties in a wad when atheist come down on them, but it's OK for Christians to come down on atheist. Now THAT'S real Christ like, isn't it?

Is it possible to go from zero respect to a negative number of respect, e.g., say a negative 10? You see, I had zero respect for Kerry before he was thrust upon us in the form of Secretary of State. Now, if it is possible, I have even less respect for him. He, both Obama and Biden, are a complete disgrace to both this country and mankind.
So how did the state get involved?
