Please define "the Catholic Church". If it is the Pope and his immediate counsels that's one thing. It it is the Bishops and the local leaders, that's another. And it is still another thing if it is the general members. Either way, I am surprised to see that you speak so negatively in behalf of the "church", whatever definition you choose. It is almost as if you allude that they would prefer Obama and the various "against it's beliefs/teachings" healthcare mandates. I am not catholic, but I will fight beside them for anything I deem as religious persecution.

In an interview with ABC News last night, President Obama admitted that he shouldn't have criticized Rep. Paul Ryan's budget plan as harshly as he did.....to his face anyway. 

President Obama said it was a "mistake" to criticize Paul Ryan and his budget proposal as strongly as he did during a speech in April 2011.
