neither political party is representing we who are nationalist/conservatives. We need a new nationalist/conservative republican party formed. totally seperate from the GOP.
She makes sense. Middle Class income is different in Manhattan and Mississippi. Maybe the same standard of living. But a vast gap in income. This is no dummy. There's a reason she won the election. She struck a chord with the voters that pretty boy Brown could not. To this day our GOP pundits/strategists/etc can't understand why. Which is why we'll probably lose the next election. We could learn a lot by analyzing this particular race.
fracking technology could help save the US economy and do it safely. But obviously the average voter has such poor judgement and is so incredibly gullible. Its so sad because we so desperately need these high paying jobs that domestic oil/gas production would bring. The damage that Damon is doing to this nation is immeasurable.
Mr York, you talked to die-hard Republicans there in SC who would vote GOP regardless. Thats no barometer. Get real. The Republican party is adrift in a rudderless vessel. But they're too proud/ arrogant to admit it. Since 11/7/06 they've refused to perform a deep self-analysis. And then there are those few in the GOP Hierarchy who're perfectly happy with the status quo. Winning is no priority to them. DD

Go check to see who voted "for" these FTA's, Charles. Demint, Rubio, etc. The Tea Party is opposed FTA's: http://pewresearch.org/databank/dailynumber/?NumberID=1142

You see only 2 sides of the problem, Corbett. The short sightedness of dualism. The GOP's political problem is multi-faceted. So must also be the solution.
"market forces" my rear end. Pure greed is a better reason. Corporate America is addicted to cheap, 3rd world labor. They simply don't want to deal with the independent minded American worker. Also, they don't like paying the price to run clean factories. They like the $$ they save by having their products made in 3rd world factories where they can belch all the particulate matter in the air they want. And discharge all the chems they want into that nations ground water. Pure, raw greed. A sin in case you've forgotten. But, get this, I do agree with "you" that the dems are indeed worse. The dem party, having been swallowed up by the Left. That means they are eager and committed to redistributing all of Americas wealth, jobs,...
yea, and along with that lets just send the Chi-Comm military a written invitation to march in and take us over.
If only the GOP had "not" sat around aloof / indifferent over the last 12 yrs or so while millions upon millions of high paying, private sector manufacturing/IT/Call Center jobs were shipped overseas. If only Mitt Romney would have publicly/passionately pleaded with corporate America to stop the hemorrhaging of good paying US jobs overseas. We're talking non-union/non-govt jobs here. If he had, he'd have easily won on 11/6/12. This is where the GOP is so horribly disconnected and why it can't win elections of any significance. And why the sinister unions are now high-fivin' & doing their victory dance in the inzone. Dave

I think Phyllis nails it here. Its the rabid free-trader internationalist in the GOP that are killing us. It began with Bush 41 and his new world order. Even Tea-Party stalwarts such as Demint and Rubio have turned their backs on the Tea Party b/c they've never met a Free Trade Agreement that they didn't like. The majority of working Americans, wisely, do not trust FTA's. Until the GOP re-connects with the blue-collar Reagan Democrats and Middle America, it will continue in its epic fail. DD
Jonah, how dare you let GWB off of the hook. He and K. Rove did more damage to the Republican Party than Richard Nixon. Much more.
