In response to:

Four More Years of Failure?

Just from reading the headline of this column, we are doomed to four more years of failure unless we elect the only candidate with a proven record of success, and I sure don't mean Mitt Romney. Gary Johnson is the only candidate who has a proven record both as a businessman and as a governor with very successful results, but I fear America is too stupid to recognize achievement and will instead fall in line with party and will elect one of two failures with inadequate records instead.

Johnson is a good guy, but his record doesn't stand up to Romney's (it's way ahead of Obama though).

darrel, sunfisher,

hate to break the news - but a vote for GJ is a vote for Bambam.

1. vote Rombama
2. LEARN HOW THE PROCESS WORKS
3. Get involved ahead of time and PREVENT Liberal-lites (aka "the establishment") from picking a Tweedledum candidate.

Why do you think they picked Rombama? They were afraid they would get a Representative as a choice, but they knew they could count on the non-participants to break away from the GOP. They won - so far - but you can grow up and keep moving in the right direction. no pun intended.

It’s not Obama vs. Romney in 2012.

It’s really Obama vs. Obama.

The president has to run against himself. His own record on the economy has been so pitiful he can’t defend it or run on it. He has to run away from it.

Instead of comparing his performance as president to what Romney-Ryan might do, Obama has to pretend like it’s been someone else who’s been mismanaging the economic recovery for the last 3 1/2 years.

He has to pretend that it’s not his policies that have kept unemployment above 8 percent for 43 straight...
