This seems to be missing the point that Roberts proper procedure should have been to return the legislation to Congress to rewrite it AS A TAX. Instead, he reached far beyond his assigned duties, and named it a tax. I think he did this becaus4e he realized that following proper procedure (returning it to congress) would have meant the death of the bill. That tells us all that we ned to know about Roberts.

Congress created a law so complex that it occupies between 2,400 and 2,800 pages depending on who says what, almost all of them unread by the people who voted for it. President Obama and his Democratic colleagues told you many things about the law – most of which were either mischaracterizations or outright lies. What Chief Justice John Roberts did was tell the truth, and now we can move forward.
