A simple Cobb-Douglas production function done in the 1980's showed that the USSR was unsustainable- using its OWN statistics. Reagan was a genius! India and China have unbalanced demographics. China is going to have BIGGGG social problems in the next 20 years and India will never get out from its bureaucracy. Europe is going to dry up and blow away. The USA will be dominant for centuries.

One charge on Bush is true. He did get us into a poorly thought out and poorly executed war in Iraq. We broke it and it is ours. I agree Bush was not a conservative, he was an evangelical and that was a serious problem, politically and administratively. I do think we should give Clinton more credit for what he did right
