Organized Coercion

The primary focus of the unions is keeping the forced deduction of union dues from wages. When people are given a choice whether or not to join (you know, the whole "freedom of association" thing), they usually choose to keep their money and use it for far less important things like food and paying the bills. Why doesn't the NRA force membership dues to come out of our wages? Because it's wrong, just as it's wrong for a union to be allowed to forces dues to come out of our wages. And the wrong slides into evil when you realize that those stolen funds are used to buy Democratic elected officials who force more people to pay those dues. A conservative can be forced to finance a politician they would never support. Democrats would...
True, but without the technological or industrial achievement, most scientific achievements go unnoticed. Further, science for the sake of itself is fine, but science put to use is far better. The science of vaccines was well known, but Jonas Salk put it to use to fight polio. Genetic research is great, but research that leads to ways to treat certain types of cancer is far better.
By buying into this, any state is saying Obamacare is a good idea. You're dancing with the devil, folks, if you dance to this tune.

Dems Have Zero Desire to Make Budget Cuts

New Jersey has an adult in charge with Governor Christie. We need the same at the national level. Someone who tells the blunt truth. That politicians of both parties knowingly lied to us for years. That spending more than you have is the road to ruin for both individuals, families, states, and nations. That everyone, and that means everyone, is going to have to make some sacrifice.
Many parents also mess up with raising their children. Does that mean they shouldn't be opposed to children be adopted by pedophiles?

The Media on Wisconsin? A Bad Joke

Try telling your spouse or significant other that since you did something nice for them 20 years ago, you don't have to do anything nice now (and haven't since). But if he/she insists on something, steal your neighbors valuables and give it to your spouse. Unions have done very little positive and a whole lot of negative in the recent past, at the same time stealing the neighbors valuables in the process (forcing pay and benefit increases on taxpayers).

Republicans took responsibility. Democrats fled responsibility. A difference. A BIG difference.

Take off the politically correct gloves. It's deliberate lying. It's inserting their (reporters) agenda on the facts and applying that agenda as a filter. It's intentionally ignoring or lying about what's really happening. And it's indefensible. They (the media) are no different than Joseph Goebbels.

How am I representated when you have elected officials bought and paid for by the same unions demanding I pay more taxes so the union has more money to give to their sugar daddy? Public employees at all levels are paid by taxes. The taxes do not come from the government - they come from people like me who pay taxes. And I have no say at the table because the elected officials do not work for me - they work for whoever pays their bills (e.g., the unions). It's a self-licking ice cream cone and I'm the napkin used to clean up the mess.

Public employess are paid by funds taken from taxpayers. "Collective bargaining" removes the taxpayers ability to oversee how public employees are paid and how benefits are granted. By definition, this is taxation without representation. Such was a fundamental reason for the Revolutionary War.
