There are indeed some silver linings to what happened Tuesday. My personal favorite is :I believe two back to back failures at the POTUS post may just be the final nail in the coffin of the establishment Republican party. Karl Rove, turn in your toga. Your service is no longer needed or appreciated! Let the Hostile Take over begin! A true Republican Party will excite the electorate for all the correct reasons. A liberal republican like Romney would have tainted the 'conservative' brand for years to come the same way that W tainted the republican brand. The Dems tried to label Romney as too extreme right. It was all 'their canard'. Real Pain is coming... but real pain changes hearts! Not for the faint of heart, but it will be very usable.

I might agree with you if I thought we might last that long. Sadly, not many have read enough history to know that giving up freedom for freebies is a recipe for disaster.
Last night was great. Two big victories, including a major comeback. Lots of drama, plenty of excitement. Here’s the bottom line: Notwithstanding chilly conditions and determined opposition, my Arlington County softball team cemented its hold on first place by sweeping a doubleheader. And I was 4-6 with a pair of doubles, so I managed to contribute.
