If we socialized the oil companies the USA would have more than enough benefits to go around. What all these macho conservatives forget is "socialism" saved this country from the Depression. When all your grandparents needed food and work after your vaulted capitalistic system crashed they took it from the government. The interstate road system was built by the evil government. The conservative all say they believe in God then vilify poor people and support social Darwinism. Mercy triumphs over judgement.

That's about as big a lie as they get. There is NO proof that socialism helped during the great depression since it was the WWII war machine that got us out of it. THAT IS FACT.
