Dear Fellow Guinea Pig

Mr. Jacob has aptly pointed out the complete folly of the healthcare legislation being touted by Democrats using Orwellian "newspeak" to hide the true nature of the bill and the damaging impact it will have on the lives of Americans. Last January, I visited Costa Rica for the first time only to find scores of wealthy American ex-pats already there. When asked why, to a man, they all said because the US government was going to destroy capitalism, take over the economy, enact confiscatory tax laws and lower the standard of living for all residents by redistributing income.
At the time, I thought these ex-pats were a bunch of Chicken Littles. Now, I view them as prescient. Emigration will increase by those who can afford to do so...
