Liquidating the Empire

$1 Trillion dollars year for defense is money well spent for the benifit that it gives us. Additionally no other department of the Federal Government is as effective as the DOD, think about it, our country has not been invaded by any foreign power since the War of 1812. No other department does as much with the resources that it has been given like the DOD.

I had served for over 20 years and every year our budget gets smaller, our man power and bases decrease and our operations tempo increases. People are coming back from deployment and being sent off again 6 to 8 months later and Mr. Buchanan beleives that we should cut down like GM.
