There was an on-line article yesterday that said that there are 102 million working age Americans who do not have a job. That is 29% of the entire population of the country. That is a far cry from the 7.3% the government is touting.
If this Democratic administration refuses to abide by the U.S. Constitution then the state of Virginia has no obligation to do so either. Therefore Virginia should be allowed to coin their own money for their state.

Four More Years of Decline

Cal you are right on the mark. Our country is split with people that have two different mind sets. From the election map it was easy to see which states have the entitlement mind set verses those who feel they are responsible for their own lives. I think there needs to be an experiment where a state like Texas secedes from the union so they don't have to support a failed U.S. Government and use their resources to produce jobs in their own state. First of all, they wouldn't start out with a 16 trillion dollar deficit. They could adopt their own monetary system that isn't subject to collapse like the American dollar which has been devalued to almost worthlessness. That would be energy independent almost overnight. Any takers?

What do you expect from a president who is a regressive? His foreign policy leadership is a complete failure. He is not a progressive but a regressive! Sorry but you have to call it like it is.

The Second Debate - Post-Game

Yes, Obama was awake for the debate. That is like getting the Noble Peace prize for something they expect you will accomplish not for something you actually accomplished. Yes, Obama had a lot of rhetoric but so much of it was evasive to the actual questions asked and was very hollow. His record speaks MUCH louder than his words. The only reason I can see why anyone wants to vote for Obama is because he is prochoice. These people think women should have a right to have their babies killed if they don't want them and will do anything to protect that right. That is heinous barbarism known among the most primitive of people.
Obama got to speak three minutes longer than Romney and he still couldn't convince me he knows anything about leadership. I was disappointed that the moderator didn't let Romney respond to some of Obama's comments. Hardly fair in a debate. Obama sketched out what he would do in a second term but the question is with almost four years in office why hasn't he done it up til now? I was very disappointed in Obama's answers on energy independence. I liked Romney's answer that if his energy policy was working prices would be going down not up. Getting America energy independent is a very big thing with me and relates directly to jobs. Romney's position on energy independence is enough by itself to give him my vote. Sorry Obama.
Very well put Phil. It is true that Obama was awake for the debate this time and he gets one point for that and that he had energized responses and he gets one point for that but it is down hill from that point on. He had a lot of rhetoric but it was all empty with no substance. He evaded some questions with stories never really answering some questions. For example, the question on immigration was never answered. His first year in office he could have enacted immigration reform but he did nothing. He gets a complete zero on that one. On the Libya question he never did answer as to why the embassy there never had adequate security. He gets a complete zero on that one. Romney won this debate hands down and Obama was a turn off.

The VP Debate

Does Biden think we can not see through his lies? He said that he didn't vote for the war in Iraq and Afghanistan but he did. He voted for the Iraq war in 2001 and for the one in Afghanistan in 2004. This debate was not a toss up. It was a clear Ryan win.

Biden was a total turn off as a result of his rudeness and arrogance!!
Romney won the debate hands down! Obama's message was that he wasn't going to change the path he is currently on and the path he is currently on isn't working. He still doesn't get it. Maybe because he still isn't qualified to be president after 4 years. It is all about what Obama wants not what the people want.
