My, such glee in destroying biodiversity! This is the International Year of Biodiversity and we'd do well to recognize that species are dying at mass extinction rates due to five causes: i) habitat fragmentation, ii) pollution, iii) invasive species iv) over-exploitation and v) global warming. Interestingly these are all in our control to fix and it's not going to be by building new power plants all over the world. We all depend on healthy ecosystems for our drinking water and our food supply. So, these eco-fanatics you're complaining about are looking out for your wellbeing. You can thank the EPA and the Clean Air Act for the fact that the air quality in our cities is at least breathable. If we want the no-EPA version, try Chinese...
