One college actually has a course by that name on the curriculum. It's actually a scuba diving course. They use the name to attract attention to the course. During the class students actually weave one basket underwater. This justifies the name of the course. If I remember correctly, the college is in either Arizona or New Mexico.

A mental hospital is the proper place for him IF he truly believes in Global Warming. The problem with all the articles is people, ESPECIALLY politicians, only read the articles that further their particular cause. Yes, there is some ice melt occuring. BUT, if anyone would bother to read other articles you will find that ice is reforming in other places, and starting to form where it never did before. The Earth is constantly, GRADUALLY changing and has been doing so since Day One. All these changes we are seeing are NATURAL changes, and they will continue long after our great-great-grandchildren are dead of old age. No amount of legislation from any country or even a group of countries is going to change that.

The amount of reflection from metal rooves is insignificant compared to the amount of reflection from the oceans, seas, and other bodies of water. It is like comparing the thickness of a single sheet of notebook paper to the heighth of the Empire State Building.

Even though legitimate, respected scientists have repeatedly stated there is no such thing as global warming, many countries, independently and through the UN, still try to force legislation concerning it. The true purpose of the legislation is to obtain and maintain control of the people: "Protecting" the environment is just camoflauge. A prime example of this is the US Cap and Trade legislation.

I disagree with your statement. While it is true that some won't to get as much as they can for free, there are also some who truly need assistance. "Go work for a living" is very difficult when the government is doing all it can to DESTROY jobs. Taking welfare is NOT shameful when it is the only means you have of providing for your family. I won't dignify the "shun beggars" remark with a response. The answers to the country's problems are not as simple as these simple-minded comments.
