Big Business Is, Simply, Vampiric

If Republicans are serious about their opposition to bailouts (welfare by another name) they need to come to terms with corporate welfare that they all too frequently support or do not oppose. If business is getting their's, there is no principled reason to oppose handouts. Most people are not the recepients of handouts. A consensus could be built opposing welfare but on an advocacy basis it must begin for Republicans with opposition to corporate welfare.

Lift the Siege of Gaza

By citing the Berlin Air Lift is Buchanan suggesting that the running of the Gaza Blockade is the moral and political equivalent to Berlin 62 years ago? If so, he is daft. This time the good guys have imposed the blockade on viable moral and military grounds, while permitting access to the humitanian materials but only after inspection for miliatry contraband. Has Buchanan thought why these "activists" are attempting to run the blockade when there is an easier and safer alternative? Has he thought that this is less about humanitarian supplies than the blockade runners claim?

Buchanan as pro-Hamas, and anit-Isreal. Quite so.
