Michael Reagan is absolutely right. When Republicans try to use the government to shepherd American citizens to God, they resemble nothing so much as the Taliban. Stand for Christian values in your life, in your community, and in your relationship with God. Let everyone else find and approach God in their own way. Government should simply keep the peace, provide a court system to help you protect yourself from fraud & trespass, provide for a common defense, and little else. I'm right there with the Tea Party on economic issues, but if you want to tell me how to live my life - using the coercive mechanisms of government - then I will vote against you. Perhaps Gov. Gary Johnson...
