We all paid INTO it, but we did not pay FOR it. Can you grasp that? It is not paid for, at all. That is what the article is saying. That is the difference. The politicians who dealt this hand already got what they wanted out of the deal - votes. Some of those politicians are already dead and buried. They won! The citizens lost! Yep, Dan. I think we all get that. The politicians screwed the American people. Once LBJ broke the seal on the ss/medicare trust fund, and raided it, every pol since has done the same.

Dan, I am at the point of voting for the lessor of two evils cause that is what we have been presented for a very long time. Unfortunately, we have usually gotten the evil of two lessors.
