THis contraception debacle was perfectly executed by the WH! It has raised the ire of every woman who thinks that the “old, white man” wants to control them and own them. I have seen the letters circulating the intrawebs... This move by the President has completely obfuscated the real failures of his administration by focusing the hatred, yes, hatred, of the left on the controlling white man who hates minorities and thinks women shouldn’t vote...said group is comprised of as many progressives as it is conservatives. So, we think he has sunk himself with this but Obama actually will benefit in rabid campaigning by the people who think that the “old, white men” are coming for them. Kudos, President Vacation!

Why "Progressives" and not "Liberals"?

histic goals. Branding is everything. “Hope and Change” worked wonders on the psyche of our country four years ago. The people who brought you that slogan have brought no change, no hope and no progress. Remember that “progressive” has positive connotations even if he people who have adopted the term are anything but progressive.

I stopped using the term “liberal” several years ago due to the fact that “liberals” are anything but liberal. I find the conundrum of their absolutist/openminded attitude to be as confusing as the characters in Rand’s novel found their “opponents.” The progressives will tell conservatives (again, a fairly unfair naming convention) that the conservative position is absolutely wrong and in the next breath talk about how open minded they are. The use of the term “progressive” comes from the advertising world...if the name sounds good, that will influence people. If these people are progressing that MUST be good because progress is good. Until we stop to realize that they mean progressing towards their socialist/communist/pseudo-anarc
The pillars of the left are crumbling, racism and the environment for two, and now they resort to class war when they themselves are members of the rich elite. I do hope Americans can see the fallacy of rich people screeching against their own class in this incitement of class war. The Democrats are despicable and they are terrified of losing their power. It cannot come too soon.

OK, time for another communist organization to go. Joe McCarthy was right, there wee communists all over the place! While Hollywood was putting out "Leave It to Beaver" and "Father Knows Best", they were colluding to make the people who fought against communism the bad guys...it was un-American to be anti-communist (what a conundrum!). They were very clever. Meanwhile, the press took care of the establishment by painting succesful men as monsters. Our government is now so infected with the communist ideology that it will be difficult to purge these intellectually shallow hordes. Marxists embody the definition of insane: they want to keep trying marxist principles everywhere even though each time the principles have been put into...

Is Obama Fair to African-Americans?

Obama is a ship without a rudder when presented to the American people. A sudden change in political wind and he is off in another direction. However, this is all polling and popularity nonsense. He is still seemingly on a path to bring down the U.S. I believe his pandering to the crowd is merely a distraction from his plan to put us on level with Indonesia, Greece, Venezuela and Ghana economically and socially. The race issue merely distracts us from his, and his cohort's, nefarious plan.

Get a country...I see, the leftists version of "love it or leave it." ACORN was using tax payer dollars to advocate for a specific political end...as the Rev. Wright said, "No, no, no...". Sorry, your propostition that the NBPP and ACORN were at fault for Republicans losing, I didn't hear that, can you cite and example? Voter fraud associated with ACORN, yes, criminals voting for Franken, yes..NBPP was not mentioned as a cause for losing. You lefties really should try to use facts.
