Chris Christie is just another example of the Republican establishment. Millions of voters sat out the last election, in large part I think because the saw virtually no difference between either party. The only tangible difference is that the Democrats are up front about wanting government rule; the Republican establishment does it behind closed doors and under the table. A recent statement by House Speaker John Boehner proves that point. With respect to the pending negotiations on what is being called the "fiscal cliff," he said "To show our seriousness, we put revenue on the table as long as it's accompanied by significant spending cuts."

This is political code speak for, first we will raise taxes on a staggering economy and then increase instead of cutting spending so that we can call for another tax increase. At some point, this death spiral by tax and spend has got to be stopped. It is time that we the people start looking at our own options.

Yep, Dan. That's why many of us Libertarians/Paleocons/Constitutionalists are FORMER Republicans.

Glad y'all are figuring it out at last.

Let the Stupid Party die out. There's no need for TWO Democrat Parties full o' progs.

Bet you voted for McCain though;)

Last night, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie made a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live” to discuss the state of affairs in his home state post-Sandy and poke fun at himself. I found the clip genuinely funny -- and especially liked the part when he quoted The Boss (that “famous poet from New Jersey”), at the end of the segment. Classic:
