What a novel interpretation: Equal protection under the law. The law applies to everyone without exception; no one is "exempt" from the law. Now, if we can only get that simple concept through the heads of those we send to Congress to represent us.

As the gun control debate rages on, we’ve seen a host of gun-rights advocates standing up for the Second Amendment.
