Explaining Romney's Surge

I fully expect Obama to appear aggressive to the point of belligerent in the next Romney/Obama debate. The problem for Obama is that he is a Johnny one note; he hasn't said a single thing that is new since before the 2008 elections. The debate will be on foreign policy and the only thing Obama can tout will be bin-Laden, which, given the enormous rise of al-Qaeda across the Middle East and North Africa is going to land with a thud. He can try to play the "Arab Spring" card but given what is happening in Egypt and Syria, Iran's escalating nuclear program and especially the Libya debacle his lies won't just be softballs, they will be sitting on a tee. In that light, events of the next three weeks should continue to favor Romney.

Rove had previously arranged for President Obama to take two Ambien before the first debate.

Not even a maniacal, all-powerful Rove could be blamed for the Democrats decision to attempt to cover-up the details of the terrible tragedy in Benghazi or the serial malfeasances before or after the attack of 9/11 that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three...
