It is funny how people want to force comparisons that don't exist. I taught in South Central LA for 16 years and "people" always wanted to say the African Americans and Latinos/Hispanics were represented in the suspension dated compared to whites. I would always ask, "What whites? There are no whites in this school." But, they wanted to blame "those people" for not suspending more whites. They didn't want to look at themselves and take real ownership and responsibility.
