The libertarian façade of talking monetary and fiscal policy is just that—a façade.
When anyone is so damn ignorant to advocate the legalization of marijuana, only emphasizes that they had excessive drug use in their adolescence—resulting in lowered IQ.
We already have a stoner, we don’t need another.
All political candidates call themselves freedom-lovers, but they are not. Neither major party really opposes government control of the economy or of our personal lives. I'm a libertarian because I see the false choice offered by political left and right: Democrats talk about personal liberty; Republicans talk about economic freedom. But what they do once in power belies their words.
I say we're best off if government just leaves us alone to our peaceful cooperation with whomever we please. Let politicians advocate moral behavior. Let them give to charities. But leave government -- which is physical force -- out of it....

Regardless, if you think our current drug policy is working, you're completely wrong.
I think it will decrease. A lot of people cruise and smoke because they might get caught smoking in their home or apartment.
Excessive use of alcohol in adolescence will do the same thing. For pregnant females it creates terrible risks for the child.
You must be for a ban on alcohol then? No wait. We are talking about the president and thus the federal government. You pretend to care. You act like you are being moral. Are you are taking the self-appointed holier than thous position that you are righteous (right)?
So then can I assume that you value laws and justice. Right?
Okay nitwit. Then point out to me WHERE in the Constitution does it say that the feds have any authority (other than insuring the free movement of pot and booze) to criminalize whatever you put into your pathetic body?
If you value all that is good you will have to admit: NOWHERE.
The question is are you a moral (or smart enough) person to give the honest and true answer?
I'm not hopeful.
GOPers don't understand what liberty and justice are. They are too busy being illiterate and self-righteous.
They don't know what the Constitution says and they don't care.
Or do you think fiscal and monetary policy is a facade too king? lol
Dan, like Obama, detests the Constitution.
