That's history! It's always been that way to one entent or another. On the other hand, I can recal, after building a relationship with our bank (which shall remain un-named) I could walk in and say, "I need $20,000." Their retort would be, "OK, when do you need it?" It would be nice to go back to those days. ...BTW, They alway got their money back!! Isn't that strange???

My bank is still like that. I can call them on the phone & they will prepare the paperwork, I just stop by & sign. They will even deposit it into my account & I don't even have to fill out a deposit slip. I love my bank. I am NOT a number (like Bank of America, etc.) They know my name when I walk in, from the tellers to the VP. They've been constantly growing throughout my state & I know why! Unlike mega banks, they don't change personnel like they change their underwear. Did I mention, I LOVE MY BANK!
