While I enjoy Mona Charen's commentaries, this one seems to have been lifted from http://www.theconservativegentleman.com. The author there said virtually the same thing only he extrapolated out the potential savings from tort reform and calculated that the 15% of people without health insurance could be covered if that money was redirected. This without disturbing a system that is perhaps the best in the world.
