After Carrie

This story should turn people's attention to the problems divorce brings to our society. Carrie's parents were involved in a nasty decade long custody battle. I'm not defending Carrie actions, I'm just questioning how someone can be equipped to become an adult when one or both of her parents failed to set a proper example. It appears that the fall of Carrie began over a decade ago. Go to http://www.danbrewington.blogspot.com to get a better understanding of how we need to protect children from divorce.

The "Dumbocrats" weren't the only ones who focused on what you call the Achilles' heel of the Republicans; the Republicans were guilty of doing the same thing. Rather than pick a more than qualified Mitt Romney (or other VP contenders), McCain went with the unknown Sarah Palin. McCain could have left Romney to appear on any TV program without having to worry about catastrophic media blunders. Insiders in both parties suggested that Palin brought some sort of sex appeal to the campaign while Romney's presidential-esque appearance made McCain appear less presidential. McCain appeared to give in to the pressure of picking Palin for her looks and fire. It was the Republican's fixation on a good "photo finish" that may have cost them a...

The topic of your original post was Twitter=Stupid yet you suggest that it would be wiser to pay for a data plan and use Twitter, along with enjoying all of the unlimited capabilities that come with the data plan, rather than pay the same amount for only texting. If I got this right, you are saying that people who pay for text messaging are stupid because they can enjoy being stupid for using Twitter for the same price but enjoy all the other benefits of the data plan. I think I got what you were saying. You are saying that people who use Twitter on their data plans are less stupid than people who pay for text messaging. Too bad everyone doesn't Tweet or have access to Outlook on their phones because the world would be rid of those...

Blasting the costs of data plans because technology is making everything universal is like calling people stupid for trying online banking when it just came out. It wasn't long ago that some people said the home computer thing was a fad. Sure there is over use and abuse, but to call it stupid is a little short sided. These "stupid" applications are only stupid until they are used in real time emergencies.

Everyone has a right to voice their opinions and speak for their cause. He's a good word of advice, don't crown yourself the darling of conservative Christian values if there may be a sex video of you somewhere in the world. To hear a grown woman rationalize the video by saying it was for her teenaged boyfriend that she loved and trusted is almost as absurd as when the McCain campaign announced Palin's daughter was pregnant and Levi and her daughter were going to get married and live happily ever after. Teens do stupid things. Everyone has a skeleton in their closet, you just want to be careful what you say if your skeleton closet is a 1500 sq ft walk in.

One forty is not enough
They are long winded.

Fort Hood: Obama's Wake-Up Call?

One of the most seemingly fundamental aspects of our human existence is the family. For some reason, God created humans to be family structured creatures. Why? I would like to think that it was the system that worked the best. Now we allow our courts and government to ravage families and kidnap our children in the name of making it more convenient for the other parent's driving schedule; or worse yet, to keep the family court money machine rolling. The system is only helping to develop children into troubled and sometimes evil souls. Many lost souls gravitate to extremism. Followers of Jim Jones, radical religious groups, Branch Davidians, the killers at Columbine HS, etc... were looking for something that they couldn't find anywhere...
