But you don't understand, Blair. Electricity from water, sun and wind are so economically viable that we don't need coal, oil and nuclear.

Dan,

who cares about economics...

wind, solar, and water are little better than snake oil - the chinese, and germans spend fossil fuel chemical energy to manufacture these devices, we put them up - then take collect what?

1. Recovery takes years beyond design lifespan
2. Device life is less than design
3. Design efficiency is less than potential
4. Actual efficiency is less than design
5. when the power is available - it is at the wrong time,
6. And finally for kinetic or thermal use (cars and ovens), take another 60% cut at perfect efficiency

Many of these "alts" will not pay off their energy cost. Ever... When the Islamoterrorists blow up these graven images to Liberalism, we will still be waiting

It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”

While Obama did not get to implement cap-and-trade, he found other ways to shut down coal...
