So Fake It’s Real: Global Warming is Reality TV for the Media Elite

A lot of people are bored with their lives, and are flailing around looking for something they can contribute to their justification for being alive. For people in industrial countries the demands are few on their involvement in human affairs. They don't need to work very hard to get basic food, shelter and health care. They don't have to contribute to their society (except to vote). They just aren't important, in their own minds. So they need to create new 'saber tooth tigers'. One of those 'tigers' is global warming. There are a lot of places in the world where the average daily and annual temps are at least 10* higher than those in Sioux City, Iowa.

Even atheists need something to have faith in. A need for faith must be part of the human condition in that it reduces the unknown.

At this time I'm a type IV in terms of religious beliefs: 1. Theist; 2. Atheist, 3. Agnostic, and 4 those who spend their time and energy thinking about other things that I don't have to die first in order to understand.

Here’s my challenge to all the global warming apologists:

Explain to me why the “settled science” of global warming has to manipulate headlines to make information appear scarier and more threatening than the actual data shows.

If global warming is so settled, why do you and your friends take the opportunity to exaggerate, obfuscate and slant every piece of news that comes out to make it seem relevant to today?

You can see an example of this in the headlines below:

Climate Change Main Contributor to Corn Volatility, Study Says” writes Bloomberg-BusinessWeek.
