A Minimum Wage Equals Minimum Jobs

One of the biggest fallacies in this country is that companies and corporations exist to provide jobs. Nothing could be further from the truth. Companies exist to provide value, as this article so eloquently posits. Unions are not just unproductive, they're ANTI-productive. Union workers can actually get in trouble for working outside of their job description. There is no incentive to excel since raises are automatic, and it's almost impossible to be fired under a collective bargaining system. I will NEVER invest in a company that hires union workers because they can't control their workforce, which is the single largest expense that a company incurs. If you can't control your largest expense, how can you control your profit? You can't....

There is NOTHING you can do for a capitalist economy that it wouldn't do for itself over time.
