It all depends on WHO gets to do the counting. Figures don't lie - but liars figure. I don't believe anything from Washington DC. Lofty claims by any number "government officials", empty promises, phony reports, "adjusted" statistics.... all slanted for political advantage. Look at the results of the last 43 months. The words of this administration ain't worth a bucket of warm spit.

I had a friend in college who was taking a statistics class and one of the text books was titled "How to Lie With Statistics".
