Immigration Reform????? Legal Immigration is the only thing that needs to be reformed. Legal Immigration--which has been the problem all along. If Legal Immigration had been properly reformed and enforced, there would not be Illegal Immigration. We have a broken Legal Immigration system. Fix just that by first securing the border like every other nation in the world does.And those "in the shadows" today are not who Jack Kemp was decribing. Geesh!

Derek: I agree with everything you say. add clarification of the 14th Amendment. We need to stop it from being used to create a citizen baby factory for those who enter our country illegally OR LEGALLY, just to have a baby who automatically becomes a citizen. The purpose of this Amendment was to protect negroes after the Civil War so their citizenship and that of their children could not be questioned.

Obamacare is a catastrophic example of the left's "one-size-fits-all" strategy for everything. Instead of targeting a problem, they have to find a "comprehensive" solution. Here's one: want to eliminate the pre-existing condition issue? Let us buy insurance across state lines, then you take it with you everywhere; and how about targeting those in need of help? Didn't that turn out to be about 6 million? Geesh!

The Government didn't lay out the money----WE did.

Substitute "tax payers" for government when referring to "providing" anything. The government has nothing except what it takes from us.

MS--Also, scientific method requires an equal investigation of what might disprove a theory. That is required for any hypothesis and conclusion. No such counter-investigation has taken place in the Global Warming hoax. But that is how Liberals/PRogressives react. They cannot explore an issue for fear they might find out they are wrong. I've never witnessed such blatant projection onto others of one's own faults. It's definitely pathological. Who is responsible for the Congressional Budget Act of 1974? Democrats. The creation of the CBO? Democrats. The Baseline Budgeting system they put in place is one of the root causes of the fiscal crisis in this country: fake spending cuts of future money; no analysis of present spending justifications; no accountability from both sides. But productive Americans are waking up. They can see the comparison of what they are doing in their own budgets to survive vs. the B.S. coming out of Washington and Liberals (and establishment Repubs.).
