This is simply a "low level, rogue operation" and the deaths in Benghazi were simply the result of a reaction to a video. This Administrations chronic propensity to minimize crimes against the American people is something we cannot abide by. People are dying and the Administration simply WILL NOT call these crimes for what they really are, yet want to leave us defenseless and without Constitutional recourse. It's reprehensible.
We need an Executive Order for random drug testing of Team Obama then, because none of them are thinking with a clear head.

Domestic Drones and Spying

At first blush I agree with you. I think drones are are wonderful inventions that save lives. But as you said, WHO controls the craft is what is important. Drones in the hands of the wrong individuals, well, we all know the implications of that. Moreover, we are only seeing the beginning of drone use. What is in store for our children and grandchildren in the next 20+ years when drone use becomes "yesterdays news" and an entire generation grows up seeing them in the sky believing they are normal? What about the "regular Joe" who makes a provocative statement against a politician while talking to his neighbor in his front yard. Would he be prone to arrest if a drone happened by at that same time? Our government already arrests filmmakers...

Domestic Drones and Spying

Fascinating article Miss Meinecke! The print copy is extremely thorough and informative. We live in an incredible age, don't we? My parents always taught me to be very cautious with the things I wrote as they can be misinterpreted and print is permanent. However, if drones become mainstream, and the possibility highly exists, even verbal statements between friends or family members could be caught by drones. It is one thing to spy on the activities of al Qaeda and quite another to spy on citizens. If these drones can read the print on a milk carton from 60,000 feet the implications are pretty frightening. Such a loss of privacy we have never been at risk of knowing and your opening sentence says it all. Thank you for bringing this to light.

Obama Versus Obama: Part IV

I don't know which frightens me more, Obama in the White House, or Obama unseen, post-presidency, quietly undermining this country.
So much thinly veiled contempt for the United States. and Israel on the part of Rice and the rest of the Obama Administration. The closer we get to the election the more obvious their true motives become-the decimation of both countries as we know them. Rices behavior is despicable but not at all surprising and the stench from Washington hangs like black cloud over all of us.
We have a Sacred Cow in this country and it is teachers and it is time the idol worship stop. $76,000 + benefits for 3/4 time work is obscene. I'm so disgusted I could spit.
Furthermore, let me lend a bit of personal perspective on this issue. In 1973-yes, 39 years ago!-I had an abortion. NEWS FLASH: It was done IN A HOSPITAL by a physician. AND YES, BIRTH CONTROL WAS ALSO AVAILABLE TO ME. So stop the war on women coat hanger nonsense as it will never happen. But more importantly, the abortion was the SINGLE MOST REGRETFUL THING I HAVE EVER DONE IN MY LIFE. Since that day I have had to deal with the knowledge and guilt that I killed my own child. And NOT ONE SINGLE WOMAN OR LIBERAL was there to counsel me or comfort me. I bore that burden ALONE. So the next time y'all fight for the right to kill a human life, I hope you give just a glimmer of thought to the life long burden of your decision.
It is inconceivable to me that any woman, even a liberal one, would fall for such stupidity as back alley abortion propaganda anymore. Someone, please tell me there is SOME intelligent life in the #DNC.
I fully expected Matthews to run crying from the room at any second. Passion for your cause is one thing, a temper tantrum is quite another. Time to grow up Mr. Matthews.
