MTV Acts Responsibly?

I am sick to death of hearing about how one man caused all our problems and how one man (yes, he is a man and not the messiah) can solve them. Only time will tell of course, but i know that the real problem resulted when we took prayer and the Bible out of schools. Study up on it. Crime has risen incredibly. It started decades ago and everyone wonders why young people are so promiscuous and why they are so disrespectful. They have nothing to believe in. Thanks for allowing me to share my opinion. So, inthemajority person whoever you are, i think you are very negative. My mother always said that if you cannot say something nice, then do not say anything at all. It is quite possible to say what you believe in without...

Winds shifting on gay marriage

I beg to differ with your e-mail. We are not trying to cheat anyone out of happiness, but the simple fact is that same-sex marriage is not Holy matrimony. In Massachusetts, they are teaching our small children about the beauty of homosexuality and it disturbs me that the parents are not given any say so. I do not want my little ones being taught any kind of sexuality. That is my job as a parent. The schools are given way too much power over our kids. Scary stuff. Thankyou for letlting me contribute my opinion.
The article is right on the money. Did you not see what happened in California after the Prop 8 deal? It would have been a lot of similiar. Unfortunately, it is becoming a popular method of getting what you want in our society. Those folks ought not have to give their names---any more than people ought to have to join a union when they are being pressured. Unfortunately, our president condones such bullying tactics. I was bullied so much as a child that it infuriates me to see people get pushed around that way. I say leave them alone.

You have truly helped me to understand a lot of things that i did not before. Thankyou sir.
Believe it or not, there are many, many poor white kids as well being raised by single moms. I was one of those kids who fell through the cracks. My teacher's liked me and felt sorry for me so they passed me to the 9th grade without even knowing my times tables. I was in corrective math with the mentally retarded kids because they just did not know what to do with me. The teachers did what they could with the resources they had, but it was not enough. Thankyou Star Parker for pointing out the obvious. I wonder why our own government cannot see this? I think they are spending way too much money teaching about things that were never intended to be in schools. Sincerely, Cynthia C. Moyers
