The WaPo Kerry Endorsement: Curious and Curiouser

You don't have to look at Kerry as a defeated Presidential candidate, look at him as a traitor for his actions after his Service during the Vietnam War. His coziness with Hanoi Jane and her ilk, etc. Look at what he tried to do recently to avoid taxes on his big new boat until he was outed by the Press. The two things the man is good at are marrying money and then spending other people's hard earned dollars. Just because the people of Mass. are too stupid to turn him out of office doesn't mean we should respect him and bow down as he tries to take his act on the road to other countries. His legislative history is not one of support for this Country. I for one see no good coming from his elevation to this post.

The tax act allows many ways to save taxes. Anyone using these tax avoiding strategies is doing a perfectly legal and sensible thing. Would you want to pay more than the law asks you to pay? No? Well neither does he and neither does Romney and neither do any millionaires.

In the late 1970’s under that bloviating gasbag Carter the Congress imposed new huge taxes on the rich buying their yachts. New England at that time had some 14,000 master craftsmen fabricating the best racing yachts in the world. In no time at all these specialized shops closed out and all the 14,000 master craftsmen lost their high-paying jobs. Since then the American rich have been buying their yachts from Spain, New Zeeland, and other places with low taxes and low labor costs. Among them is the new Obama nominee for the Secretary of State John Kerry, another bloviating gasbag, a phony self-proclaimed war hero, and a functional moron of the far left. Married into the Heinz millions, he bought his yacht cheap in New Zeeland.

Kerry's history shows him to be a phony and a cheat. With those two qualities proven, it's safe to assume he is also an adept liar.

It's no wonder Obama chose him ...

Actually, he is a lousy liar. Everyone knows he is lying, but with 'enemies' like McCain, he is never called on his treason or lies. A good diplomat has to lie such that the other side does not start a war over the lies. Expect another nonNobel peace prize as more wars are started in the next 4 years. The zero will continue to lead from behind and no one respects that we would actually try to win any war we get into.

Editor's Note: This column was coauthored by Bob Morrison.

The editorial staff of the Washington Post, surely meant well. They wanted readers to think that Sen. John Kerry’s vast experience in foreign policy over four decades equips him to serve as Secretary of State in the second Obama administration.

The editorial, titled “John Kerry: Well-suited to be Secretary of State,” gets that part right. The natty Mr. Kerry certainly looks the part of a globe-trotting senior U.S. diplomat.

As to his qualifications for that role, we’re reminded of Frederick the Great’s response when he was urged to make a less...
