Yes, I couldn't have said it better myself. Why can't liberals see that when you support small business, it will grow your economy.

No, let's raise taxes, increase energy costs, mandate health insurance and then ask why business after business is closing their doors!

Why would I, or any other business owner, work 60-70 hours a week when there is no reward? Just so we can be vilified by the President as greedy? Take away people's incentives and you'll find that the small businesses who are the backbone of this country (and always have been) will not be there when you need them. What happens when you don't have a backbone? You Die!!

I called you out for what you are...a liar. Don't come on a webpage and start saying things like "we conservatives need to..." The real Republicans and Conservatives will spot you in an instant.

Now that I see what a full-fledged cool aid drinker you are, I'll stop wasting my time with you. I've heard these non-sensical arguments from the left forever.

I own a small business in California with 70 employees and I'll tell you that in the 16 years since I started it, things are worse and more terrifying now than they ever were. It just so happens that this is also the first time that liberals ran Washington entirely.

Had McCain been elected, I firmly beleive that we would've been well down the road to...

"They were bored with fighting the Islamic threat."

How could the Bush administration be bored? They were only in office for a few months when 9-11 occured.

Your type of liberal is so disingenous. You started writing as if you were a conservative. The problem is that you make such ignorant arguments that you show yourself immediately. You're the same type of liberal who calls up talk radio and starts by saying "I voted for George Bush and..." Why don't you just stand up for your ridiculous beliefs and stop lying??

Those liberals who are willing to shoulder George Bush with all of the blame for 9-11 should be equally willing to saddle Obama for the blame of a sinking economy. Obama has spent and spent and...

"Who is at fault for 9-11?" THE ISLAMIC NUT JOBS WHO PLANNED AND CARRIED IT OUT??? Does that sound right to you?

Are far as "we conservatives" I really don't think you belong in that category. The truth is that in the United States, there is fault enough to go around and that's where it should end.

I live about 20 minutes away from Los Angeles which, in my mind, is where the next major bombing would be targeted. Shame on Barack Obama for playing politics with our safety. None of it matters if we are not safe.

However, EVEN MORE SHAME on those RECKLESS and IDEALISTIC Americans who voted a man into office for no better reasons than he was black, talked pretty, and wasn't George Bush. It's great that some of them are now "waking up" as the media puts it but to my mind, they shouldn't have been voting while asleep!

Listen Bud, I’m a Conservative Republican but it's your ilk that makes Fox and this blog look like the Daily Kos.

I own a small business and Obama is ruining my life but even I can see that it's not because he wants America to collapse. The things Obama is trying to do are the things he PROMISED Americans he was going to do. He never promised to govern from the center. Everything about this guy SCREAMED LEFTIST but no one was listening.

It just happened that there was an unpopular Republican president in office (I had my differences with Bush but at least he didn’t vilify business.) And many ignorant people in America became enamored with the idea of a Black president and got swept away with his pretty words. ...

Look, I don't trust Obama either but the fact of the matter is this: He's our President now and nothing is going to change that.

Continuing to make the "Birther" argument sounds alot like the Florida nonsense in the first Bush term where Lefties screamed how he wasn't the REAL president. Their shrill cries continued even after four or five different newspapers (some very liberal papers) did their own recount and found that Bush had carried Florida.

Both the McCain campaign and the Clinton campaign looked long and hard at the Birther controversy. Don't you think that if there was anything there to find, they would have found it? Clinton would have, I guarantee it. That woman would have done anything to secure the...

Good Lord, where have you been Jeff??? Popular Mechanics magazine spent pages and pages going over EXACTLY how building #7 collapsed. It's no real mystery except for those who are inclined to believe in conspiracies. If it doesn't exhaust your mind too much, think about how many people would need to stay quiet for so long for a conspiracy of this size to succeed. Think of the size and scope of the conspiracy and what is on the line for those who committed it! Water Gate, which was SMALL potatoes by comparison to 911, couldn't last. Little by little people started to buckle under the pressure. Both "Truthers" and "Birthers" need to go away. They make both sides of the political spectrum look ridiculous.
Hey Bob - Yes, if Cap and Trade passes, I'm done for also.

I see you are located in a state run by crazy liberals too! Isn't it fun to run a business in a state that's constantly demonizing business? Where do they think they get their sales tax from?

I would leave California but my business is not portable. It's sunk into the ground in 40 foot pylons. Otherwise, I'd leave this bankrupt state with it's bankrupt politicians to its fate. Moderate Democrats ought to take a good hard look at California. As everyone loves saying, "As California goes, so goes the rest of the country"...BANKRUPT.

The Convenient Fantasies of President Obama

I own a small business in So Cal with about 70 employees. I wrote to my "representatives" about "Cap and Trade." I told them that I hire mostly inner-city kids without education or experience. I also hire those who've made mistakes in life so long as those mistakes aren't violent or pervy in nature.

I asked my "representatives" how I'm supposed to pay for such an increase in energy. I explained to them that I hire those they CLAIM to care about. I told them that companies like mine, where teenagers often get their first jobs and sometimes work their way through school, will be lost if they go through with such a radical proposal. It's great to have a green economy but don't send a wrecking ball through it to get it green. ...
