A lot more conservatives/republicans really do like the idea of conserving our resources, but they have a lot of fun irking others with those statements. The idea of cap of trade irks a lot of people, so fair is fair in that regard. LOL

of what not to do.
I am typing pretty fast here while I am working on something else, but you still get the idea - right? And although I could do the same for other posters here, I don't because it's not what is important. The "school" thing was in reference to being able to remember what happen with our previous issues about pollution and if anyone actually remembered that. Example would be "acid rain".
The other part of that was actually the debating "artfully" talent.
When you have someone feverishly make comments just because they are angry and don't offer much of anything else, then it really about anger isn't it. Not about the real issues.

We know there will be no investigation of Al Gore, but don't scream at me - it's a statement of...

I have a hard time being treated by a couple of doctors that were not brought up here, or haven't live in the US for very long. It's not that they cannot be doctors, but it is hard to communicate - and not just because of a langauge dialect either. It's because sometimes, they are not so accostumed to our culture. Then there is that "worried" foreign doctor that seems a bit too afraid of treating you because he is in a different country. I still don't think we shouldn't have them here working, but it is frustrating.

Here is a link to an article about that medical school and medical applicants here in US. From this, you can get other references. It explains that the AMA (American Medical Association) actually tried to hold back...

Look, I am all for a lot of things in controlling costs, and keeping government to a minimum.

BUT - some of you speak of things and use terms here that has nothing to do what is going on. Some of you do while using the consitution.

It's insane to think that those here who scream injustice has used none of their abilities to understand what America's economy is based on, or history of it.
It is a mixed economy, always has been. There is a reason for this. Do your homework.

Being mad and upset about our economy is one thing, but some of these statements below are too close to the fringe. Do not forget your own advice about common sense. If we all acted this way - we would be a third world country.

The best...

Read what those cuts are first. The whole goal here from me is to open the book past it's cover.
Some of those cuts involve more job loss and more tax cuts in places it should not be.

More inpending debt added. Not saying we should cut more then we did just this last summer, but it would be more then reasonable for people to take a look of where those cuts are, instead of assuming "it's all good". I have been drilling down, why aren't you? You need to and should be - like we do not understand why that isn't important, and while we are at it - we can also watch our legislature as well. No reason not to.
Just remember, some cuts will doom us more, espeically while trying to keep from plunging further down. What about the tax...
Our plants do need CO2, but when we do have more CO2 then our trees and water can take in, it means that more carbon retains in the air. How this carbon really affects the "climate change" is debated, sure. But we do know that too much of carbon without enough sources to take it up for a better balance creates issues. I am not even talking about climate change here. So - plant a tree. Yes, I think they may be a better way to keep our pollution down, and balance our
environment then cap and trade.

No, Al Gore didn't go out without any informaton that was not obtained by scientist - so investigating him is a waste of time.
I agree with you about not having to have a bill to correct the fraud problems. Why have that when our government should just train or hire and train those who should be able to do that right? I don't like all that idea of layers upon layers of paperwork that will need to be done just to get health care either - crap, I hate the private insurance paperwork for that matter.

I am not advocating bigger government. I would just love to go in myself and define what government needs to go because of lack of effeciency, and what should be there. I agree that a bigger governement doesn't mean better.
You think they would pay me enough to do this BK?

I believe I would very busy "re-organizing" that and may have job security,...
You can't just throw around terms like "marxist" and "socialist" without know what those terms really mean, or how they were used in history.

You really need to do that so that you understand yourself, or to represent yourself better. Economics in our History is a little more then a term you read in the dictionary.

You even missed other economic theories as well.
