The Astounding Tax Rates On America's Poor

Think that stinks? My wife is physical therapist and works three days a week. She makes decent money but she gets taxed at the same rate as millionaire athletes because she married someone that makes a better salary. Talk about a disincentive to work.

The Astounding Tax Rates On America's Poor

These charts don't comport with the CBO data on who pays the income taxes. There is something left out when the chart reads that those at or near the poverty line pay marginal tax rates of 95%. On it's face it is untrue. The highest taxation rates go to those that pay the lion's share of the taxes. A single parent making 23k likely pays next to nothing in taxes as the bottom 50% of taxpayers only pay 4% of the Federal income taxes. So whatever machination has been employed here, it is deceptive. The incentive for working vs getting handouts is the knowledge that you are no longer being a leech on society and that you now have the chance to move up and do better yet. We do not need more programs or higher ceilings for public welfare. What we need is a flat tax that everybody pays. No exceptions.
Yes. What I love most about that ridiculous series of events is that it followed the pattern used to get Christine Gregoire in the Gov Mansion in Wash St. They kept "finding" votes (always overwhelmingly supporting the Dem candidate) and continued to do recounts (because we need to make sure the results are accurate) until they showed the Dem candidate winning by a few dozen votes. At that fair point they stop recounting, stop looking for missing votes and lose all interest in accuracy; they declare that posterity has been served and shut it down.
Be accurate. She married a man several years older than her and then proceeded to have another baby and apply to law school. Of course she chose Harvard Law because why would she stay close to home or go to a lesser school when her husband could afford Harvard? Not only did she stick him with their child, she also stuck him with her older child that was not his daughter. He managed to run a business and raise those two girls- both the same like they were both his. She left him the day after he paid the final bill for law school. Later she gave up custody rights to her daughter with him AND her daughter that was not even related to him. From what I have read he is a terrific man, an excellent father and a gentleman. He has done right by those girls when their own mother wouldn't. He won't even badmouth Wendy to the press; most likely this is for his girls and not for her sake. She is a snake, a liar, a gutter snipe and a proponent of infanticide. How she continues to garner support is beyond comprehension.
The land actually belongs to the state. BLM was asked to manage it. This is a large part of Bundy's complaint.
HUD, Education, Dept of Energy, rural electrification program, transportation money for anything other than roads and bridges, TSA, obamaphones, PBS, NPR, NEA. Elimanate them all. We will never notice a thing missing.
This is complete misrepresentation of the facts. Try this propaganda elsewhere. What do you think will happen when yourself and people like you have to defend their actions before their countrymen? What happens to traitors?

Shoot, shovel and shut up. Works in nearly all situations.
Wrong. Jackson-Lee and Boxer make Pelosi sound like Einstein.

She conveniently ignores the fact that Reagan only signed the amnesty because he was promised a secured southern border. He later expressed his dismay that those he had considered friends and partners had betrayed him and called the amnesty issue the biggest regret of his administration.

Typical for Linda. She would love to see another soft-on-illegal aliens Bush in the WH. They are here illegally. They break the law every day they are here. This was not candor; this was pandering to the moderates. This was a clear indication that Bush intends to make a run and that he will do it by ignoring the conservative base and targeting the moderate vote. It hasn't worked in the last two elections but, hey, third time's a charm, right? No sale, Linda. We need to kick these invaders out of our country and let them go to the back of the line. I don't suppose she would hold the same view if the invaders didn't look exactly like her.
