Incredible. I cringed reading the article referenced. She equates the value of a life of a fetus with that limited span of a terminally ill or terminally injured person in the hospital. Funny how she does not go on to draw the parallel between turning off a respirator and stopping pressor drugs that are sustaining a life and the active process of ripping apart or chemically burning to death a fetus. At least the patients in the hospital will get large doses of narcotics to remove all of the pain and alter any remaining sensorium- the little baby gets nothing but a sudden, searing pain.

First, on a personal note: Thank you, thank you and thank you, Mary Elizabeth Williams! What a glorious service you’ve done the pro-life cause. I know, that’s not what you intended. But that’s precisely what you’ve accomplished.
