I've read Brooks' book, and it is masterful. Twinned with Arnn's "The Founders Key" , you have the all-encompassing vision of an America triumphant with morally principled conservatives as the dominant leaders! The trick then will be to live up to our own principles, as the 2000s GOP failed to do, giving us this Obamanation!

Ah, Larry Arnn.....what a national treasure he is, and what a courageous individual. Would that there were more like him, standing up to the overweening liberal control of education in this country.

Have you taken Hillsboro College's course "Constitution 101?" It's outstanding. I bought the accompanying book - though that's entirely optional - so that I could make notes in the margins of the course readings. A "MUST READ" for all who would be informed re the founding of our government.

Snark, it's Hillsdale College.

With the election coming up, many people believe that the stakes for our country are as big as they have ever been. A large number of Americans believe that the first term of the Obama Administration has ushered in a new era of expansionist government, resulting in what Friedrich A. Hayek wrote about in The Road to Serfdom. Some wish to reverse this reckless expansion, and thus Arthur C. Brooks has written The Road to Freedom.

How did a man who aspired to be a professional French horn player come to write a book like this? Not very easily,...
