Dems: Greed is Good as a Tax Credit

This is something that Liberals are for some reason unable to comprehend(or more likely, willfully blind to). They rail against business and accuse corporations of greed while advocating more power for gov't buearocrats and politicians. The problem with their philosophy is that greed is a human flaw and it is not the corporations or businesses that are sometimes greedy....its PEOPLE! Businesses(at least those who aren't in bed with the gov't) are held accountable by customers and gov't regulators but buearocrats and politicians are often not accountable to anyone but their fellow crooked gov't friends who very rarely do something about it! Greed exists and always will, the question is what system harnesses that greed and uses it for...
Is there anyway that the rest of the country can vote to force California to seced from the United States of America? It may as well be another country entirely since it no longer treats its citizens as Americans and it seems to be the antithesis of American values!
Sounds like Newt is putting his presidential aspirations ahead of principles! Rather than acknowledging we are on the home stretch of a decades long bipartisan path toward economic ruin, he would rather straddle the fence in an effort to appeal to the head in the sand crowd. He is no doubt betting many who see we are bearing down on the iceberg of debt will vote for him anyways since President Obama's solution is to increase the speed before impact rather than change course. Newt is a part of the problem and he has severely miscalculated! America is ready for someone to be honest and forthright about our economic problems, not another smoke and mirrors politician!
Hey Mr. President, STEP ASIDE and businesses will "step up"! It's kind of hard to "step up" when your administration is trying to stomp on their head! If a business were to start hiring wouldn't that only be because they are greedy and selfish anyways!? This man is an embarassement to the office and the entire country...I still cannot believe we have elected an anti-capitalist as President and I fear for our economic wellbeing if this imbecile is somehow re-elected!
Does it really matter where he was born!? His intentions to use racial and class warfare in order to divide our citizens and harm the United States by destroying its economic system are the biggest issue to attack! Our system is what has kept his fellow socialists/marxists/progressives at bay for over a century. Capitalism allows for upward class mobility like no other economic system in history and that is what gives everyone in this country a burning desire to protect it. You may be born poor or immigrate here with nothing, but there is very little other than lack of hard work that can prevent you from being successful. Even those who don't reach the level of success they desire know that their children and grandchildren will...
What a silly idea! I prefer a 2 wall solution...2 walls seperated by about 100 yards of mine fields......Or maybe we could actually finish the ones we have started and maybe start actively and aggressively patroling the border with drones and boots on the ground! The cartels and gangs would quickly realize they aren't so tough after meeting some of our fine military men and women! As for those who are trying to come here for work and to make a better life for their families...a vast majority of America understands and sympathizes with their plight, but there are legal ways to do so and the economic harm to American citizens of all socio economic groups is to important to ignore!

Something tells me that Soros' Secretary of State Project is going to play a large role in the attempted theft of this election! I have little doubt "missing" ballots are being prepared by the voter fraud units of the progressive movement as we speak.

Thank you Mr. Sowell for yet another simple yet brilliant explanation of common sense economics!!! I am repeatedly impressed with his easily understood explanations of complex economic issues and with the exception of maybe Milton Friedman, no individual has inspired me to pursue a Masters in Economics more than Mr. Sowell. We need more people who apply economic principles without being corrupted by politics and I intend to be one of those people!
It was gov't policy that dictated the creation of derivatives in order to free up more money to lend to more people with poor credit risk along with threats from the federal gov't to sue or hold up mergers and acquisitions by the banks unless they did as they were directed! There is no doubt that many private individuals and companies also manipulated the system that was created to benefit financially and they are certainly at fault as well, but the important thing to realize is it all began with a faulty belief that it is the gov'ts job to create equal outcomes by intervening in the markets. Government solutions almost always create far worse problems than they were intending to fix in the first place, even when the motives are genuine!
Zee, you forgot to mention how we want to get rid of regulations that make it impossible for us to kill off the elderly, the poor and cute little puppies! These damn regulations are always getting in our way whenever we want to do something evil and greedy bwahahahahahaha. P.S. Your a moron!
