Lets not paint with too broad a brush. I would gladly move to a Red state to get out of this mess were I able to talk my wife into leaving. You can be sure that when I do make it to a Red state, I'll be voting conservative. We aren't all liberal nut cases here.

On the money Rock, we are on the path to National Healthcare. Just one question for you libs, if we nationalize health care, where will those poor Canadians go to get help?

When Obamacare blows up, the cry will go out for National Health Care. If Pelosi wasn't such a bug-eyed idiot I'd suspect that as being the plan all along.

Wow....I guess this idiocy explains your name.
um.....if they don't already have " Without IT infrastructure to process enrollments and payments, verify eligibility and establish call centers, health insurance for millions of Americans could be further delayed." They ain't gonna have it by October. We is well and truly screwed.

If its such a great deal for the poor folks at the bottom of the rung, why stop at $9....why not $19, or $90.

Exactly! And this to me is why it will never find a firm footing. If you say that to people they nod and agree, but then you have the young pothead that can't find work, has a few kids and suddenly no way to take care of them. At the point, the argument that they made their bed and can now lie in it doesn't work for most people. Especially where the kids are considered. Few are willing to write them off and not help them because of the poor choices of their parents. I'm guessing that is why for a liberal its always "for the children". They know where our weakness lies.

Maybe its a generational thing. I'm a proud Libertarian that wouldn't be one if the Republicans would simply stand up for their so-called principles. If you were to ask me about my beliefs, first up is small government, get the federal government back to its origins. Strong national "defense" emphasis on the defense get out of places like Germany and Korea and Japan. Pot probably wouldn't even make the list. In fact I don't really want it legalized but I'd have to accept it as consistent with my core beliefs.

Having freedom to smoke pot, and having freedom to smoke pot on the job or in the classroom are not the same thing. Booze is legal, and people that show up to class drunk are sent home....same with work.
