There is a report just released showing how much Palin paid for consultants. It is not surprising that she tries to condemn something that she does herself. But the real news comes when you look at how donors’ money was actually doled out: just $298,500 to candidates. The bulk of the rest of it, more than $4.8 million, went to—you guessed it—consultants.

Former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin repeatedly brought a jam packed crowd to its feet during her speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference Saturday.

Palin covered everything from overpaid Washington D.C. consultants, gun control and crony capitalism to New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg’s recently shot down big gulp ban.
