Mark Twain and Charles Dickens during it's very early years delved into it. They met, and both lived amongst them. They learned the truth and were impressed. The early members were smart, beautiful, and intelligent. Make sure that when you Delve, you delve into reality and truth. Rumors are rumors. Both Mark Twain and Charles wrote that these were the roses and the cream of the crop. If the church were what you say it is, those early members and writers would have left. They did not.

Beacon, here is a question for you. If the church is the only organization that prophecy told that in the final days the constitution would hang by a thread...and if you really were a Bishop as you claim, then you have heard it, does not the fulfillment of prophecy unique to the church being fulfilled right in front of your face, cause you alarm. It amazes me. Another question Beacon, how is it that the greatest amount of love and service from any church ever, can come from a church that was started by such a man, unless he had the help from God he had? Beacon, the time is at hand.

Our church welcomes these opportunities to teach the truth. Beacon, obviously you are not an active member and possibly you have been excommunicated, you know you are misleading. Joseph Smith did smoke and drink as a young man and his wife Emma asked him to inquire of the Lord if he should continue. His answer was NO and he wrote the word of wisdom through prayer. The church had it's beginnings when Joseph was 14 years old, when he prayed to the Lord and asked him which of the many churches were true. He was told they spoke the truth but their hearts were far from HIM. If anyone has any questions, they should read the Book of Mormon, and find out for themselves. Rumors are rumors.

dear Lt Bud my husband says that the church welcomes these opportunities to correct and teach, and Beacon, here's one for you, have you heard LDS prophecies that the constitution will hang by a thread? Beacon, you need to get your chronology straight as well. Bar Tender? in your own home. It is true that Joseph Smith drank and smoked like all men of his time and age, but, his wife Emma asked him to ask the Lord's position on smoking and drinking. When he asked, through prayer, he knew that it was not the way of the Lord and he kept himself clean and unspotted. The truth through all accusations is this...are you happy? If not, what's missing?
