Obama's speech at Ohio State University this year was a vapid re-hash of campaign speeches....be good citizen, trust government....HAH!!! Nothing about the hard work, achievement, hopes and dreams of the graduates. It made the ceremony, which should have been celebrating my daughter's accomplishments, an absolute bore. But my daughter survived four years still intact as a conservative. Whew! (And due to picking a smart major, (accounting), she has a job. Double "whew"!) But having Obama there was AWFUL!!!!!!!!!

It’s springtime again and we all know what that means: hundreds of thousands of college students from across the country will attend (if they haven’t already) commencement ceremonies to bask in their own accomplishments and receive their diplomas. In many ways, it is a time of excitement and apprehension for many as students come to the firm realization that they’re leaving their respective “bubbles,” and entering what my father likes to call “the real world.”
