As long as we continue to have more and more government give-a-ways Dems will continue to win elections. People are becoming addicted to that getting something for nothing mindset.
You have my empathy! It's important to note that this is what the elite's do...they flaunt their lifestyles in front of the peasantry. After all, they are the "ruling" class and deserve our respect and admiration...ha, ha, ha.
One theory: Since the government has the power to tax, it doesn't matter what the current enrollment numbers are. What does matter is the government is on it's way to controlling a large segment of our economy. The insurance companies are and will continue to play an ineffective role in the health insurance market. BTW, look at Medicare where most of the beneficiaries pay a whopping $104.90 per month for an 80/20 health plan. How does it get any better than this? Especially when you stop and consider most of an individual's health care cost comes during the final 6 months of life. Unless those of us who are against this tyrannical government can elect some good, solid conservatives in the 2014 election, we'll see nothing but more of the same kind of intrusions into our lives.
As evidence of this, one need look no further than insurance companies being subservient to the HHS. Why, in the near future, if an insurance company needs to be bailed due to a lack of young, health people they need look no further than our federal government. Congratulations citizens, we are well on our way to national health insurance. One need look no further than Great Britain or Canada to see where we're headed. Only hope is the 2014 elections!
BTW, Dinesh D'Souza made some astonishing predictions about Obama and his plans for America in 2008 and....virtually all of them have come true.
What's wrong with you? Don't you think it's a good idea to coddle our young people to keep them on Mom & Dad's expensive health plan to age 27?
Obama is nothing more than Jiminy Carter on steroids!

Poor Harry, what a horrible turn of events. The man has no heart and therefore could not be checked. Although a brain was discovered, it turned out to be very dysfunctional.
Phil, I'm sure I speak for many when I say: You get my vote for Time magazine person of the year.
In a related T.H. article: Barbara Walters gives kudos to the Catholic church for "returning to it's roots" and not passing judgment on the LBGT crowd. In reality the Catholic church has much more in common with Phil Robertson than all the politically correct people who namby pamby around with their half baked opinions. Here's a big "atta boy" to Phil for saying what millions of us would like to have said. You get my vote for Time magazine Person of the year, Phil.
No offense but you know nothing of this Pope nor his history of ex-communicating South American Bishops for expressing their Marxist beliefs. Some Jesuits may be a bit liberal but there are just as many who are orthodox in their beliefs.
