I share Kerwick's views about the "true" Obama; I remember his comment during his first campaign, "At some point, haven't you made enough money?" I believe that was the "Joe the plumber" incident. And . . . he was fond of stating that America was great because throughout our history, "We all worked together." These comments ring "socialist" alarm bells with anyone on the right in this country. I knew LONG AGO that this man was really not "from here." Our right to make as much (or as little) money as we care to is enshrined in our psyche, and Americans have ALWAYS worked for themselves first; the synergy of individual efforts of millions of Americans has created our nation. Sorry! Obama has it ALL WRONG!
So, six in ten Americans think Obama has vision? Very perceptive: He DOES have vision, and it's for a socialist United States. Be VERY afraid!!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but 100 lashes might be "punishment"; stoning is "execution."
OldMom, what you predict will NEVER happen--count on it. There's not enough money in the treasury or paper with which to print money, to make this idiocy work.
Here's another thing the Republicans will do: They will move to scrap this enormous enlargement of the civil service under Obamacare. READ THE LAW!!! THIS THING IS ABOUT CENTRAL GOVERNMENT CONTROL--IT'S NOT ABOUT "INSURANCE"!

If we elect a Republican president in 2016, ALL these executive orders and administrative (read non-legislated) directives will go POOF!!! The new president will simply unwind all of Obama's executive branch policies, with no input required from Congress. I expect Obama's eight years in office eventually to be rendered a completely blank slate.

If the Republican House had not thwarted Obama at every turn since 2010, his socialist principles WOULD be enacted, and the Dow Jones would assuredly NOT be pushing 16,000!!!

I do NOT think repealing Obamacare will be difficult, even after it's "up and running." The running will be done by private insurance carriers, who can easily transition policy coverage to their own book of business. What repeal means is that the absolutely ENORMOUS bureaucracy designed around Obamacare as a sort of civil service full employment act will NOT get "up and running." If you haven't done so, please read this law--it's not about insurance coverage, it's about bureaucratic control of the entire health care industry in America. WAKE UP, EVERYONE!!!
This notion of throwing out the entire software website work done so far and starting over has an interesting parallel: How about we throw out the entire "Rube Goldberg" indecipherable Obamacare law and start over???

Perfectly stated! The MSM in this country has been killing us since I remember in the late 1960's: All the liberal kids went into journalism and political science. I'm now 62, a lifelong Republican, and I was "present at the creation"! We are now reaping the whirlwind . . .

Well, Pat, as John Galt said in Atlas Shrugged, "Get out of my way!" You wonder out loud how we can recover greatness? Americans must force, by the ballot-box, our government, at ALL levels, to get out of the way.
