What examples do you have of Mormons practicing 'Intolerance' against those who oppose Mormonism?

Your portrayal of the LDS Church's move was not only inaccurate and ignorant but also demonstrated a certain bigotry. The LDS Church has not paved the way for homosexual marriage and has been and continues to be on the forefront of defending marriage and families.

Having been treated as second class citizens by "Christians" like you, the LDS Church is painfully aware of intense hatred and the lack of basic rights. Have you been verbally and physically abused, hit, kicked, spat upon and had your basic rights infringed upon for your religion (here in the US of all places)? Many LDS have.

The LDS Church can't win with the religious right. If Mormons fight for the right causes, they are good little lap dogs to be tolerated as...
Great comments, Mike, and so true.

This was an excellent essay Dr. Williams and I completely agree. Some of my ancestors were persecuted by the US government for their religious convictions but I have no interest in nor desire to demand apologoes or reparations -- it is a different day and certainly time to move on.

As I've said before,if reparations are given then every descendant of Union soldiers (I descend from 5)should be there with hands out waiting to be paid by African Americans for the blood spilled while freeing their ancestors.

Where would it stop?
John Hawkins has some very good points about Obama's birth certificate. There is plenty more legitimate problems to go after Obama about -- we should move on from the birth certificate issue.
Not all male Republicans have gone down in flames. Mitt Romney has shown he still has moral values and honors the marriage covenant. I'm a big fan of Sarah Palin and would love to see her run, but let's not make a blanket statement about male Republican candidates.
