John, Generally good article except for the misconceptions about Glass-Steagall. It was written in the mistaken belief that multistate banks and bank holding companies' investment arms caused the 1929 crash and the great depression. There was *no* consideration of "too big to fail" during the bill's passage. During the 1930s, thousands of banks failed and depositors were wiped out (before FDIC insurance kicked in) because of legal limitations to growth and diversification. {Please refer to FDR’s Folly by Jim Powell}. At the same time, no Canadian banks (which allowed multistate universal banks) failed. Glass Steagall was a bad Hoover/Roosevelt era law that did nothing to contribute to the subprime loan crisis.
Guy, you're updates would be more valuable if you noted the time you posted them. PS tell your systems guys "TOO MANY BROKEN LINKS" They will get the point

Recall that Hillary Clinton is a key architect in this shameful treatment of the only democratic republic that protects the rights of Christian, Muslims, and Jews in the entirety of North Africa, Middle East, and Asia Minor. Clinton is as anti-Civilization as Obama, Castro, Chavez, and the Islamist dictators in the Middle East. She should never be allowed to gain real power.

Dear Mr. Intellectual Giant, The vast majority of the terms you note are not federal responsibility and some, such as "climate change", represent fraudulent science and economics. Instead, this is a reflexive list of hackneyed, empty phrases. You may wish to apply your enormous brain power to "Ask Marilyn" puzzles in Parade magazine.

If the Republicans don't prove it, then the Tea Party will swoop in like the Shadow Host of Dunharrow in "The Lord of the Rings" and mow down the Republicans like so many dimwitted orcs. *Great* quote!

the White House's "enforcer" Rahm wants out to run the efficient-and-thoughtful-by-comparison city bureaucracy of Chicago. What a great phrase!

Behind Obama's Phony Deficit Numbers

The numbers and argument made by Morris exactly jibe with the numbers you report. You also ignore the subsequent spending Morris notes that took place in 2009.

I would flag your article as offensive but that's because Townhall doesn't have "too lazy to read the post" button.
I like Richard and Eileen, but the idea of jailing a business owner for hiring people is wrong. If you ever ran a real business, you would know the rules about hiring are extensive, but only dependent on the paperwork provided. There is more than enough sanctions against employers. The heart of improvement is a guest worker program, which I think is their stronger point.
